Development stages of carpet

In the selection of ground falls in history, the climatic conditions in which they will be used have always played a decisive role and people took measures accordingly. This exit point has been instrumental in the emergence of carpets and rugs. For example, in the latitudes close to the north pole, animal skin was used. In India and further south, the posts have been replaced by mats. Carpets, rugs, felts and similar textiles were produced in Central Asia, Iran and Anatolia. This development has always occurred according to people's life styles.

Especially the carpet used a lot as a place period. However, until recently, the information about the earliest examples of these used carpets is very limited. The first research on carpets began in 1891 with the publication of the Vienna Carpet Exhibition.

The earliest example of the carpet found was found by the Russian archaeologist Rudenko in the fifth Aplomb tomb, found among the mummified dead horse, four-wheeled car and various household items. It is the Pazirik carpet dated to the 5th century and cost to Scythians. Pazirik carpet is remarkable with its high quality, fineness and rich motifs. The Pazirik carpet is 2 meters long and 1.9 meters wide. It is woven with wool knitting using wool yarn. It is not a first quality carpet in terms of loop frequency. But it is striking with its superior design in embellishments. The Pazirik carpet is adorned with the illusion knot and decorated with deer, cavalry, griffin and stylized plant motifs and sheds light on the early periods of carpet art.

The surface of the carpet is divided into rectangles. Three thin, two thick strips extending up to the middle section are formed into square forms with motifs in the middle section. On the outermost thin border, the squares with a griffon figure were arranged side by side. The use of carpets in history has varied. Although the essence has not changed much, there have been various developments in the production techniques. People have started to prefer products that have high quality, purpose, health and environmental impact from the period of limited needs. This development is reflected in the carpets and rugs in the textile sector. As in all textile products, the quality parameter is also sought in carpets.
